Hello there. I’m an actor and voice artist with over 30 years’ experience across radio, television, commercials and heritage projects. My natural speaking voice is a warm RP, and I give a great, clear “straight” read that’s ideal for narration. I’m also an experienced storyteller and book narrator with a range of accents and character voices. Outside work I’m a keen swimmer, science-fiction enthusiast and admirer of writers from Saki and E F Benson to Iain M Banks and Sylvia Townsend Warner.
My past clients have included the BBC, Channel 5, the National Trust and the British Library, and I've voiced literally hundreds of radio and television commercials. I was a full-time television announcer for 8 years, working live on air, so I can deliver a timed read to the second.
