Hello, I’m Jenny – multi-award nominated northern British voice actor working from my home studio in Gr Manchester, UK.
From commercial voiceover for TV & radio to corporate explainers & animations, e-learning, IVR & medical to radio drama & TV narration, let me tell your story using my versatile, authentic and charismatic Lancashire/Gr Manchester voice. I’m often booked for my naturally conversational tone – as the friend down the pub, the calm, reassuring voice of the NHS, or when a project requires that elusive ‘real read.’
Born and based in Wigan between the cities of Liverpool and Manchester, I can tweak my voice towards both Mancunian/Manchester and Scouse/Liverpool accents, naturally and believably. Whether it’s just a hint for a professional corporate explainer, or full throttle for commercial, radio drama or character work.
From my purpose-built, isolated and acoustically treated vocal booth, I can connect to clients and producers at any time, globally, via Cleanfeed, Source Connect or Zoom. I use a Rode NT1-A Microphone, Twisted Wave, Beyer dynamic DT 770 Pro headphones, Focusrite 2i2 interface.

Over 7 years as a full time professional voiceover and voice actor. 10 years in the commercial radio industry prior to that.

I studied English and Drama at University and continue to hone my craft with ActUPNorth and Gravy for the Brain. I’ve also had world class coaching from the fabulous Nicola Redman, Marc Scott and Justine Harris.
