I’m Greg, and I’ve been a professional voice-over for 30+ years.
This is all I do.
My background in the 80’s and 90’s was in radio as a broadcaster, presenter, journalist, newsreader, interviewer, host/anchor, producer and music director.
Music is what drives me, and, up until recently as a sideline, I’ve sung and played in most forms of rock/pop bands – from grunge, punk and indie to covers and big band jazz/swing – for the past 4 decades.
Music has been my main motivation during my years on this planet – it inspires and, whenever the opportunity arises to voice anything which dictates the “mood” of the script or narrative, musically, I’m at my happiest!
My voice is heard by millions of people, worldwide, every single day.
On radio and TV commercials, audio/visual corporate narrations, documentaries, online, on-hold, explainers, e-learning modules, award ceremonies and, I’ve been the imaging/branding "voice" of over 100 Radio and TV stations in the UK, the UAE, Africa, Australia and other corners of the globe in a career spanning three decades.
Classic FM is the largest national commercial radio station in the UK. Around 6 million people tune in weekly. At the Sony Radio Awards in 1999 and 2000, the station won “Gold” for "Station Sound". I was the primary voice of Classic FM at that time.
I’ve also station-imaged/branded for radio networks like Virgin in places such as Bangkok, Koh Samui and Bangkok and, in Australia, Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. I was station imaging voice for London's LBC 97.3 FM talk/current affairs and political network - which was awarded UK Station of the year at the annual Arqiva Awards in 2013 - for 5 years.
I voice for radio and television networks in Africa, notably as station continuity voice for Kenya and Uganda’s NTV Network, and I’m currently the official promo voice for five of the FOX/Disney Networks’ Movie related Channels throughout the UAE.
In 2011, I voiced the part of the narrator and several character voices (in English) for a 125 page narrative based on the classic 12th Century "Song of Roland” - the oldest surviving major work in French literature - which was released as an AudioBook.
In 2014, I spent a year in Dubai, establishing and working with a new client-base, voicing for the likes of MacDonald’s, Porsche, Coca-Cola, Sony, Kellogg’s, Toyota and Samsung to name a few.
Located in Dorset, UK, I voice for all clients, in all countries at all hours via Zoom, Google, Teams, Source Nexus, SessionLink, CleanFeed and various other online protocols…
