How our service works
There are two ways to get a professional voice over at Voice Crafters. Most of our projects are turned around within 24-48 hours. Just follow these easy steps, or check out our How it works page:
1. Post a project or listen to voice samples.
Post a project and enter details about your project so our system can find qualified talent for you. Alternatively, you can use our search filters to find talent and listen to voice samples. You can search by language, gender, age, and more! In addition, you can hone in on your search by entering specific characteristics you need in the search bar. Enter keywords like “Warm”, “Conversational”, “Authoritative”, etc., and invite the best candidates to your project.
2. Invite voice actors to quote for your project.
Simply click the “Invite to quote” for every talent you have selected. We recommend choosing at least 5-10 voice artists so you can start receiving quotes as soon as possible. Click the “Get quotes” button at the bottom of your screen to enter details about your project. You can also ask the voice artists to record a custom audition based on your script. Soon thereafter you’ll find proposals from the voice actors you chose in your inbox.

3. Hire talent and fund the project.
Once you have found the right candidate, simply click “Hire Talent” in the PROPOSALS tab of your dashboard. You’ll be asked to fund the project. Your payment will be held in a secure server until the completion of the project. The voice talent will be notified to start the recording and will deliver the audio to you as soon as they can.
4. Approve the files and release funds.
Throughout the entire process, you’ll be able to communicate with the voice actor through our message board. Use it to provide feedback and direction to the voice actor. Once you’re happy with the end result, simply click the “release funds” button in your dashboard to release payment to the voice actor. You can then post your review of their work. That’s it! You are all done – till your next project, of course!
